last SG · 2007-12-01T02:26:36+00:00

eagle, i have no beef with u, but why do u go round people threads that sell maplesea items? why u so sensitive about that topic?

Nicky198u SG

if it makes u sleep better at night, go ahead and impose your brand of 'justice'

i do not play maple either, i hate the game.

If you want to threaten over reporting someone and getting his account which is worked for, banned, then u are a sad sad man

eagle SG

well, I had stopped it. It was you who brought it up again. Just scrolled back to see your post.

furb SG

Yea, maybe. However, think about it. Do asiasoft seriously have the time for this? If they do, there won't be people selling it. The reason no actions have been done is because they don't care.

Asiasoft is thinking "As long as people is buying my A-cash and I'm earning, why do I give a damn? After all, these items I can generate from database as much as I want and give to the players. It doesn't even cost me a single cents. It's not like I'm hurting when people sell items".

Yea he maybe rude, but you started it. It takes 2 hands to clap.

And also, just pointing out another thing:

Downloading of movies, games and songs and buying pirated ones are also illegal, why did you do it too? Not forgetting other minor offense like jaywalking, spitting and littering. Hey don't tell me you forgotten they are illegal too.

Ah, don't tell me you never done it before.

So stop trying to act holy/justice or wadever. Cool

Nicky198u SG

i dont control whether u post or not

eagle SG

I dun really play games, and I don't listen to songs. As for movies, it has been a long time since I downloaded one. Do I need to if I can watch on crunchyroll or youtube?

So yes, I can claim I have not done any of those you said for a very long time.

eagle SG

so now this is exact opposite of saying its his thread, you get out Rolling Eyes

Nicky198u SG

what?

furb SG

lol, one thing people often mistaken. Not just downloading, watching movie online is still illegal.

Well, I have to admit I do watch movie online, that makes me part of the sinner.

Anyway, the whole idea is to think about yourself before commenting about others' action.

I always try to do that, kind of self-reflection and remind myself not to do it next time.

When it comes to jaywalking, watching shows online, that is something I couldn't resist even if I do self-reflect. Laughing

eagle SG

you won't understand anyway. You have already contradicted yourself

Nicky198u SG

watching movies that are uploaded online is also considered illegal if im not wrong, but youtube cant control every single vid thats uploaded.

i see TS getting bashed by pple without constructive criticism, more like 'BUYER STUPID IF HE BUYS FROM TS' 'SELLING IS ILLEGAL I REPORT U', All are unnecessary.

Nicky198u SG

yea keep thinking you're almighty, you can choose to ignore my rebuke, but u responded anyway, and you're saying i started it thats why you replied, what is this kindergarden? shuttup and type more

eagle SG

Because you are not in possession of the film and streamed films are usually of super-low quality, thus making it impossible sell them, I can't forsee the need for a legal penalty. Downloading ripped DVDs and TV shows, however, is definitely illegal.

eagle SG

suits you Laughing if this makes you happier

Nicky198u SG

One word - Childish

eagle SG

So you think selling such things should have constructive criticism? Please advice.

Nicky198u SG

Valuation of items? Whether or not the item is worth the $ stated by ts?

Simply put, dont be ignorant, you guys are making it hard for TS. Not that hes my friend la Very Happy

Easy to understand mr eagle?

eagle SG

Oh, so you are saying that we should encourage illegal tradings and the selling of such virtual items.

Simply put, if such things were as simple as buy and sell, will any of us make it hard? Not that he's my enemy la Very Happy

Easy to understand mr nicky?

Nicky198u SG

mrs

It IS as simple as buy and sell, you're just making it hard. Does asiasoft care that much?Is it worth cracking down and get the backlash Odex had?Singtel got involved and now, they pulled out of Sitex at the last min due to poor feedback after the odex saga - Got this info from my classmate who works there

The issue here is you having a problem with ONE GUY selling his account

furb already explained about Asiasoft's stance on it, which i think is true, why crack down and decrease its popularity?

Go petition for a ban if you're really that affected by this 'illegal tradings'.

eagle SG

mdm

It is not as simple as buy and sell. You just can't accept it because you too buy and sell game accounts.

And if the selling starts to get more rampant, are you sure they won't look into it? Isn't it just like how pirated CDs were sold initially years ago in Singapore, openly in Pasar Malam? Did the authorities bother much at that time?

Nicky198u SG

Selling pirated CDs and online games are two totally different scenarios. Pressure from the outside of singapore also forced Singapore to take action. Do we want the image of a pirated goods hub like china?

Asiasoft making authorities crack down on virtual item selling? You must be joking

I sold my wow account months ago, blizz doesnt care. The only way you get caught is if someone actually goes through the whole process trouble of taking screenies and spamming them with mails of the transaction. There are thousands of accounts on sale on the web during my research on the best price i should sell at. ANY blizz employee could fake a transaction to get the username of the seller's account, and ban it. Did they do it?

No

Selling of virtual items IS already rampant. It is even allowed in countries like US and China ie. DiabloII, WOW, Guild wars, Runescape Gold farms

It is so easy for WOW to report a wow gold farming company just looking up their website, location, company name etc, but they didnt do it. Tells u how much the policy is enforced yea?
